What are Neuromuscular disorders?
Neuromuscular disorders are a broad group of conditions that affect the nerves, muscles, or the connections between them. These disorders can interfere with the body’s ability to communicate signals between the nervous system and muscles, leading to symptoms such as weakness, loss of coordination, or even paralysis. Neuromuscular disorders can be congenital (present at birth), genetic, or acquired later in life due to injury, illness, or other environmental factors.
