We’re excited to feature Bryan, a member of our accounting team at Kane Hall Barry Neurology. Bryan joined the organization six months ago and brings a wide range of experience and a grounded, thoughtful presence to our team.
Bryan has worked in finance and accounting for over 15 years and has served in a variety of industries including manufacturing, aerospace and defense, oil and gas, construction, and real estate. His broad background brings a valuable perspective to his role, which focuses on tracking revenue, monitoring expenses, and supporting business operations behind the scenes.
Although his title is accountant, Bryan’s work goes beyond traditional accounting tasks. He also helps our physician partners with several of their business ventures, providing dependable financial insight and strategic support.
When asked what he likes most about his role, Bryan doesn’t hesitate to point to the people. “Everyone here has been so welcoming,” he says. “The physicians, nurse practitioners, leadership, and staff are all helpful, friendly, and great to work with.”
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys a number of outdoor hobbies that help him recharge. Archery, fishing, hunting, and camping are at the top of his list. He especially values time spent outdoors with his wife Serena and their two rescue dachshunds, Grace and Penny. Grace is the older of the two and has a unique look due to her vitiligo, while Penny is full of energy and just turned three.
Bryan and Serena have been married for 19 years. Between them, they have four adult children. Though no grandchildren have arrived just yet, Bryan says they are looking forward to that next stage when it happens.
In addition to his professional work, Bryan is currently wrapping up the final course needed to sit for the Texas CPA exam. He sees education as an ongoing journey and is always eager to learn something new.
He and Serena also love to travel. Cruising is one of their favorite ways to explore new places, and they’ve visited the Bahamas, Mexico, and Central America multiple times. One location stands out in particular—Merida, located on the Yucatán Peninsula. “It’s an amazing place,” Bryan says. “There are Mayan ruins, pyramids, and the largest sinkhole in North America. It’s incredibly beautiful and full of history.”
