Celebrating 30 Years of Patient-Centered Neurological Care

Kane Hall Barry Neurology: Honoring Our Past, Advancing the Future

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Kane Hall Barry Neurology. Since 1995, our practice has been leading the way in providing high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered neurological care to support patients and their families within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Our Beginnings

In the early 1990s, two neurologists—Dr. Jerome Kane and Dr. Scott Hall—answered the call to serve the growing Mid-Cities region. Dr. Kane moved to the area at the invitation of what is now Medical City North Hills, while Dr. Hall was recruited by Texas Health Harris Methodist H-E-B. At the time, they were the only neurologists serving a community of more than 350,000 people.

In 1995, they joined forces to establish Mid-Cities Neurology Associates of H/E/B. Four years later, in 1999, Dr. James Barry—a residency classmate of Dr. Kane—relocated from Arkansas to join the practice. By 2001, the group was rebranded as Kane Hall Barry Neurology, setting the stage for decades of meaningful growth.

Milestones and Growth

From the beginning, Kane Hall Barry Neurology has embraced innovation and community care:

  • 2004: Opened our freestanding infusion center in Bedford—one of the first neurology practices in the region to administer Tysabri for MS patients.

  • 2005: Expanded to Keller/North Fort Worth with a second office.

  • 2010: Launched Residential Care Visits to bring neurological care to patients in long-term care facilities—led by Nurse Practitioner Susan Imke.

  • 2016: Relocated the Keller office to a larger facility to meet rising demand.

  • 2020: Opened a second infusion center in Keller.

  • 2023: Opened our third location in Mansfield.

Today, we remain committed to accessible, advanced care. Our services have grown to include EEGs, EMGs by certified technologists, evoked potential testing, vascular studies, home sleep testing, neurocognitive testing, spirometry, and same-day migraine rescue treatments.

A Message From the Founders

“Time flies when you’re having fun. In the mid to late 80s, Dr. Hall and I began caring for the underserved neurologic population in the Mid-Cities. When Dr. Barry joined us in 1999, Kane Hall Barry Neurology was born.

While Dr. Hall retired a decade ago, his legacy still lives on—quite literally on our walls with his beautiful animal photography. From three providers in a single office to 13 providers across Bedford, Keller, and Mansfield, the journey has been incredible.

We are deeply grateful to our past and present staff, administrators, technologists, providers, and infusion teams. Your dedication made this growth possible.

As Dr. Barry and I look toward the future, we are confident the next 30 years for Kane Hall Barry Neurology will be even brighter.”

Drs. Kane and Barry

Thank you to our patients, staff, and community for 30 years of trust.

We’re proud of our past—and excited for the future.
