On July 1, 2024, Kane Hall Barry Neurology celebrated its 29th anniversary! To mark this special occasion, our team came together for a fun-filled day of trivia, laughter, and reflection on our incredible journey.
Our History
In the early 1990’s, Dr. Jerome Kane and Dr. Scott Hall arrived in the Mid-Cities area, initially serving as the sole neurologists at Medical City North Hills and Texas Health Harris Methodist H-E-B hospitals, respectively. The Mid-Cities area, home to 350,000 people at the time, had limited access to neurological care. In 1995, Dr. Kane and Dr. Hall combined their expertise to form “Mid-Cities Neurology Associates of H/E/B.”
In 1999, Dr. James Barry, a former residency classmate of Dr. Kane, joined the practice, enriching the team with his experience and knowledge. Two years later, in 2001, the practice was renamed “Kane Hall Barry Neurology,” marking the beginning of a new era.
The early 2000’s saw significant advancements, including the opening of a freestanding biologics infusion center in 2004. Kane Hall Barry Neurology was the first in the region to offer Tysabri infusion therapy for Multiple Sclerosis, among other pioneering treatments.
Expansion continued with the opening of a second location in Keller/North Fort Worth in 2005 and the addition of residential care visits in 2010. Responding to the growing demand, the Keller office moved to a larger space in 2016, and an infusion center was added in 2020.
In 2022, Spirometry testing was introduced, reducing wait times for patients needing pulmonary function assessments.
In 2023, Kane Hall Barry expanded to Mansfield, TX with a third clinic.
