There are many factors that determine the cost of a visit. For instance, if you are filing with insurance, your cost may be less based on your particular plan’s coverage. Even when using insurance, some plans require you to meet a deductible before they share the costs, some require you to pay a percentage of each visit, and others require you to reach a total out of pocket before they begin paying for your care. Testing is typically covered differently than office visits, so you may find that your typical copay doesn’t apply. In addition, we are a specialty clinic and sometimes the copay is different than a primary care visit.
Kane Hall Barry is committed to understanding your insurance plan and providing you with the best estimate of your out-of-pocket costs before your visit. These are estimates and are based on the information we received from your insurance company at the time of the inquiry. Therefore, we try to balance providing those estimates close enough to the appointment for you to make arrangements for payment in full without being so far ahead that we haven’t accounted for all of the monies you may have already paid toward your deductible.
