We are excited to announce that four of our Kane Hall Barry providers have been approved the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as Partners in MS Care. We have continued to earn this designation since 2014 due to the expert care provided to our MS patients.
Congratulations to James M. Barry – MD, Srirekha Maddukuri – MD, Nirav Shah – MD, and Jessica Mason – FNP!
What is a Partner in MS Care?
“Partners in MS Care are healthcare providers who have demonstrated knowledge and expertise in treating people with MS. These providers have a relationship with the National MS Society which helps connect their patients to the information, resources, and support available to assist them in living their best lives.”
The providers must meet stringent requirements to maintain this recognition, such as taking specific MS continuing education courses, participating in clinical drug trials, and speaking engagements. In addition, they must ensure they are recommending and monitoring treatment interventions based on individual patient needs. Patients can be confident that the physicians at Kane Hall Barry are aware of the most advanced treatment options available.
What does this mean for the patients of Kane Hall Barry?
The value of this designation means that we got recognized as an “expert” in the field of multiple sclerosis, and, as such, patients can easily find us on the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s website. The dedication of our exemplary team will allow us to continue having a positive impact on our patients and our communities. We are privileged to treat our MS patients with excellence and provide the high level of care to which they deserve.
