This month, we are proud to celebrate Amanda H., who is marking her 10-year anniversary with Kane Hall Barry Neurology!
Amanda H. joined KHB in 2014 and has grown with the practice over the past decade, serving in several key roles along the way. She began part-time at the front desk, later supported our providers as Residential Care Coordinator, and helped connect with the community as a liaison for marketing. Each role gave her new opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to our mission of patient-centered quality care.
Today, Amanda H. is our Referral Specialist, managing one of our major referral platforms, Leading Reach. In this role, she helps ensure patients are seamlessly connected to the right providers. Amanda says the most rewarding part of her work is knowing she helps patients have the best experience possible:
“I love knowing that I am a part of helping our patients have the best experience they can with our practice and getting the help they need.”
Looking back, Amanda remembers the challenges of switching platforms, but she is proud of how the team came together:
“Everyone pitched in, and I think it brought us all closer as a team.”
Her advice to anyone starting out at KHB is encouraging:
“Don’t give up—the knowledge will come. It’s a hard job but well worth it.”
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her children in athletics, and relaxing with their dog. She also loves reading, watching movies, playing games, and being outdoors. A favorite memory is a recent trip to Utah, where she spent time hiking through Zion National Park and taking in the beauty of nature.
