This month, we’re excited to highlight Stacy, a longtime and deeply valued member of the Kane Hall Barry Neurology team.
Stacy has been working 13 years with our practice—a milestone that reflects her dedication, growth, and the positive impact she has made on both patients and staff.
Growing with the Practice
Stacy began her journey at Kane Hall Barry Neurology at the Front Desk, back when our Keller office had just two providers and one END technologist. She welcomed patients, managed appointments, and kept daily operations moving—often wearing many hats at once.
Over the years, she advanced into several roles, including Front Desk Supervisor and Patient Services Manager. Today, she serves as an Operations Support Specialist, a role that touches nearly every part of the practice.
“I get to do a little bit of everything, and I love being able to support both our staff and our patients. It’s never boring!”
Supporting the Patient Experience
In her current position, Stacy oversees our Patient Access department—one of the most essential areas of the neurology patient journey. She helps guide processes related to scheduling, check-in and check-out, phone support, referrals, and more.
She also builds and maintains templates used across the practice, including provider schedules, technologist and infusion schedules, and hospital coverage.
“The Patient Access team plays a huge role in how patients experience our clinic. We’re often the first and last people they interact with, and I love helping make that experience smooth.”
A Strong Foundation in Healthcare
Before joining KHB, Stacy worked in medical billing and coding during and after college. That background gave her a solid understanding of healthcare administration, which continues to support her work today.
What She Loves Most About Her Work
Stacy takes pride in helping patients and supporting families during what can be stressful moments. She also enjoys mentoring staff and watching team members grow—in their skills, confidence, and careers.
Life Outside of Work
When she’s not at the clinic, Stacy loves spending time with her family. Most weekends are spent traveling to softball tournaments or cheering from the sidelines at school activities. For her, any free time is family time.
“We love traveling together. It doesn’t matter where we go—the people you’re with make the trip memorable.”
Her Advice for Future KHB Team Members
“Do it! KHB is growing, but the family atmosphere has never changed.”
Message to Our Patients
“We truly have some of the best neurology providers around. They’re always looking for ways to grow and to take even better care of our patients.”
