Join Kane Hall Barry Neurology as a Psychometrist in the DFW metroplex. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting psychological and neuropsychological assessment services by administering, scoring, and preparing standardized tests. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally within a dynamic medical team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer a wide range of cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, and psychological tests following standardized procedures.
• Score tests protocols accurately and efficiently, using both manual and digital scoring systems.
• Maintain adherence to standardized testing conditions, timing, and scripts.
• Monitor and document patient behavior, effort, and factors that may influence test results.
• Prepare testing materials and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and ethical standards.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of test administration and behavioral observations.
• Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, neuroscience or related field.
• Certified Specialist in Psychometry – CSP (preferred)
• Familiarity with common test batteries (WAIS, WISC, WMS, CLT, DKEFS, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include superior interpersonal and patient contact skills, excellent telephone manner, and strong computer skills.
• Work under minimal supervision and can remain calm and exercise good judgment in stressful situations.
