As of March 24, 2020, Tarrant County has been put under a “Stay at Home” order due to the coronavirus pandemic. The health and well-being of our patients, staff, nurses and doctors are our main concern.  With that in mind, we are happy to announce telemedicine visits are available for your non-urgent needs.  Please know:

  • We will continue to see patients in the office for urgent needs.
  • The Infusion Suite will remain open as it is considered critical to patient care
  • We will continue Botox treatments in office as they are considered critical to patient care
  • Most testing will be rescheduled unless it is considered critical to patient care

Kane Hall Barry Neurology is taking measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus while continuing to provide excellent neurological care for our patients. Let’s start with patients that have upcoming appointments with us:

If you answer YES to any of the following questions, please call us to reschedule your appointment. Our doctors and staff are available to assist you over the phone, if needed. (Telehealth coming soon!)

  1. Have you been advised by a medical professional or local health authority to self-quarantine or been in close contact recently with someone who has?
  2. Have you traveled to or from any of the following areas in the last 14 days?
    1. Outside the United States
    2. Washington, New York, New Jersey, California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Louisiana
    3. Any other areas with known community spread
  3. Have you had close contact with someone in the past 14 days who has or is suspected of having coronavirus?
  4. Have you had close contact with someone in the past 14 days who has traveled to an affected area and is now ill?
  5. Have you had a fever within the last 24 hours?
  6. Do you currently have any respiratory symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat?

Now for everyone: Please follow the below guidelines to help reduce the spread of COVID-19:

  • Stay home and call the health department or doctor before going to emergency room if
    • You have fever or any respiratory or flu like symptoms
    • You have been in contact with anyone who was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 or asked to self-quarantine
  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and help young children do the same. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wear a Face Mask when in a high risk for exposure environment.
  • Avoid close contact or maintain at least 6 feet distance with people who are sick.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hands).
  • Increase cleaning and disinfection of common areas.
  • Monitor your and family member’s health conditions.
  • Cancel all non-essential gatherings. Employ greater use of take-out rather than dine-in restaurant meals.
